Hey Beauty Fam, we come here we with a heart full of love and nostalgia, and we have lots to say on here, today. In this blog post, we pay tribute to our first ever liquid lipstick launch, the F.A.R.A.H Matte Bo$$ Liquid Lip Pigments.
It has been such a journey with these lipsticks, and as sad as we are, our stock has finally come to an end, which means they are no longer available for you to buy on our website. As sad as we are about this chapter closing, we are excited for what we have incoming.
From the start of curating these lipsticks closely with our team, we worked hard to create a shade range that was perfect for every single skin tone, complexion, shade, out there. From the dark plum, Amy, to the light nude, Jessica, each shade of liquid lipstick was created with the intention of serving everyone.
Each lipstick holds memories and stories of its own, and we are here today to share those with you, so you can hold them in your hearts, too (even though you can't purchase them after seeing this).
Starting off with the darkest plum shade in the collection, Amy, was named after Farah's mother, the Urdu endearment of mother, Ami. In an effort to replicate her mother's favorite and signature shade, our team created Amy.
The next shade was Coco, a rich and warm brown that would have reminded you of the hot chocolate you drink after a long, cold day in the outdoors. When you take that first sip of hot chocolate, and it smears all over your lips, but in a good way. It was the perfect shade for the holidays, and was a staple in the collection for a perfect brown lip.
Coming up next, was Sienna. Sienna was Coco's sister shade, she was not as deep as Coco, but she was just as bright and bold. Sienna was the rich earthy reddish brown that you find at the Grand Canyon, and in the clay under a mountain's rocky exterior. She
Next, we had Sofia, an elegant and lush pink. It shied away from being called "hot pink", however, was elegant enough to be the rich shade that you would see in the 60s when the main actress would wear polka dotted dresses and red high heels. It was bold and elegant, but not bright enough to be unfitting for a princess or a queen.
Speaking of friends, our next shade from the pink family was named after Farah's closest, yet farthest friend, Aleya. Living almost 500 miles away, Aleya remained a special part of Farah's life.
The final shade in the nude line was Jessica, our lightest nude shade in the collection. The purpose of this shade was to create a mixer nude shade that can also be worn on its own with a dark lip liner. This shade was meant to be put in the center of the lips for an ombre nude.
Roxxanne, an embodiment of femininity, was our fiery and bold scarlet red shade. She was bright, bold, and fierce. Roxxanne was a mix between orange and red, a blend of warmth and fire.
And now, we have saved the best for last. Our show-stopping, rich, crafted-to-perfection, and our brand's pride, all in one shade of red. Farah's personal favorite shade, the deep true red shade, named after the CEO herself, the shade Farah. She was the perfect red that received compliments from many whenever it was worn. She was the shade of red that suited all skin tones and brought out the beauty from within. The beauty of the classic red lip was one that even changing times cannot change. A classic and bold red lip with rich tones that are comparable to the velvety luxury of Ferrari, is what the shade Farah was. The shade Farah was the first to sell out, and our brand has been proud since the beginning. Our love and heart was poured into creating the most perfect red, Farah. And the shade Farah's legacy will continue on in the rest of our launches.
And with that, our liquid lipstick collection comes to an end. The stories of all 9 shades remain with us and we will refer back to them as time goes on. They marked the beginning of our story as a brand, and the start of our cosmetics line. The F.A.R.A.H team is cooking up a lot right now and we cannot wait to share it with you.
